Hartlepool Patios is a local business that sticks to what it knows: patios and garden paving. Our team works across the town and out to the villages, from the Headland and West Park to Seaton Carew, Fens and Owton Manor, and up to Hart, Elwick and Dalton Piercy.
Hartlepool gardens come in all shapes. Period houses on the Headland and the villas around West Park often have walled gardens and courtyards that suit natural sandstone. The 1930s to 1960s semis around Rossmere and Owton Manor tend to have longer gardens with an old concrete patio by the back door. Newer homes at Middle Warren and Clavering often come with a small builder's patio that's ready to grow. Add heavy clay in many gardens and the wind off the sea, and getting the base and the joints right matters more than most.

- Garden walls: low walls, raised beds and retaining walls in brick or stone.
How we work
- Free site visit. We come to you, look at the garden and talk through ideas, materials and layout.
- Measure up. We measure the area, check levels against the house and the damp-proof course, and plan how water will drain. On exposed spots near the sea front, we also choose joints that won't wash out.
- Your quote. It's free, with no obligation.
- Proper groundwork. Dug out to depth, a compacted crushed-stone sub-base, every slab bedded on full mortar and laid with a fall away from the house.
- A tidy finish. Edges made good, lawn lines neat, waste cleared away, with a word on when it's ready to walk on and when the furniture can go back.
